    The witching hour and colic...

It occurred to me yesterday that the witching hour(s) (for me it is 5-7) is the EXACT same time frame that my children would experience the worst colic as newborns. I could practically set a clock to my youngest child's colic time!
Don't know if anyone else notices or even agrees but I just wondered about this. Why is that period of time tempting and stressful? I can rationalize that it is sort of a transition time from work to homelife and add in the stress of making the evening meal and it adds up to a difficult phase of the day.
But for small babies why would they have this?
Just a random thought that occurred to me yesterday!

    Have a super day everyone!

Hi Sash - I think babies just mirror their surroundings, so stressed adults = stressed babies. The little 'sponges' are so perceptive to energies, facial expressions and differences in our touch, all of which are harder when we are stressed.
    thats my 2 cents !!
