I miss you Wal-Mart

I am on my way to WALLY WORLD this morning....I will send pictures.I heard that it is one of the TOP vacation spots in US...Next only to DISNEY....

I miss you Wal-Mart

I have a Wal Mart rule - I only go if I can go before noon on a weekday. If I need groceries or household stuff after about noon or on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I either wait or go someplace more expensive.
I would love to not go there at all, but it kills me to spend more somewhere else.
I hate the place too (loved Sam Walton's books and ideals many, many years ago but I think all of that is gone), but I hate spending money I don't need to especially in a tigher economy.
I will say that our walmart workers here are much friendlier than they were on the east coast (of course, everyone's friendlier in NM than the DC area!). And we have the greatest greeter when I go in the morning - a nice friendly smile and cheery hello and you can tell he actually means it! Nice way to start your day.
