    Sea,
I've been thinking of you a lot and want to tell you what an inspiration you are to me. I have been reading your posts for ta while now and admire your ability to pick yourself up and keep trying. You are a wonderful example to keep trying and not give up. I believe you are stronger than you think, look at how well you handled this last crisis and now you are making great progress in getting life in order. Things can just continue to get better!

I just love the people on this site and feel so grateful that I am no longer alone in this battle, I feel like I have a whole army behind me!

      Day 4

Good morning. Have I told all of u that I love u? I would not be where I am without your help. I still have a few Ativan left but don't feel like I need them anymore, so I am going to try and go without them. I actually took less than prescribed through the detox, hence the extra. I know I told some of you that I had started dating a heavy drinker about a month ago, well the Bum knew I was in the hospital Thursday night, knew I came home the same night. He did not call to see how I was the whole weekend. Guess he couldn't interrupt HIS so-called party. He called last night. I did not answer. He is history. He can drink HIMSELF to death if he wants. I am seeing the doc tomorrow. I have to pay cash but I have already saved over Fifty dollars that I would have spent on booze. I am going to download the book today and show it to her and see what she recommends. I dread going back to AA, but I am almost always alone, so I probably need it. Best wishes to all today.

        Hi Seacailin,
I think I know what you are going through on the financial front. I am about three months behind on the mortgage and have just managed to keep them at bay. I know what it is like to be afraid of answering the phone in case it is them or someone else I owe. However, I am getting there and a lot has been due to this website - has just encouraged me to try and get my shit together and sort things out - but it is little by little and that can be very hard sometimes. At the end of the day though you are the most important factor and you have try and look after yourself.
        Best Wishes,
        Bandit

Keep pushing through the next few days as it will get better! Focus on the future as the planning you are doing today will pay off over the next few days and weeks.

            Thanks all

Now that I am on Day 4, how do I get rid of the 72 hour thread, or will it just die out.? You all give me strength. It is going to be Hot as Hell here for the next two days. I want to go to an AA meeting, but they never have AC and the Ac in my car died. I am going to download the book and start reading it today and I have u wonderful people, so if I don't venture out, I'm sure I will still be ok. Made my first trip to the supermarket yesterday and beer was everywhere, and I am amazed that I made it. The house will be empty again today, so I must be strong.

                Hi Sea,
Well done you! I found when I was pregnant and it was baking hot that sticking my feet in a bowl of cold water really helped!
                Take care
