    New Approach

    Good morning friends!
Today is going to be completely positive, no excuses for drinking. Today is all about the joys of being AF. Forget about the past, even if just for the day. To start with, I have the pleasure of getting ready for the weekend. That means the Grandkids are coming! I am only 48 and have 3 Grandkids. How cool is that? We are teaching the oldest one to swim in our backyard pool. Gotta be AF for that I would love to hear what everyone else has to look forward to and I will post more as the day goes on. Smile or cry but DO have a great day!! Hugs to y'all!!

Great positive post! Sounds like you have a wonderful AF day planned.
I have a pretty long to do list myself--starting with my walk!

      Good For U LTG

I actually have plans with my sis, cousins, and grown children. Trust me. They never want me around when I am drinking. When I am not with them I will be at AA meetings and spend some time reading by the pool. Have a wonderful day

Today is the one year anniversary of buying our home...the one we hope to stay in for a LONG time, after moving 13 times in 15 years. What do I want to do? Celebrate with wine, of course! But now, we're going to make a big chocolate cake (for which I'll have some room for the calories, because I'll not be drinking 500 cals of wine), and home made pizzas with the children. That's what we're doing today.

4tops: That's a great celebration! Congrats on the house. We only bought ours 3 years ago. No more apartments. That's something to be grateful for

48 and 3 g-kids, sounds like you started early like I did. I'm 46 and my "boys" are 24 and 25. One has a girl friend, the other hasen't mentioned a girl yet. So, looks like my plans for being a "sexy grandma" wil be on hold for a while - LOL.
                  Wishing everybody peace.
