    New guy

    Hi Dazed,
I don't know where wip is and I'm sure that was not the intention. I was curious about the meaning went to dictionary and cut & pasted without really thinking. Didn't realize how bad it sounded until I did. Please forgive me.
We all know how serious this is for you.

I had my septum "undeviated" just a few months ago. It' was very easy. 40 minute operation, and I was just three hours from check-in to check out. It hurt for a few days, but I was back to work less than 3 days hours after the operation. Plus about 2 weeks of "nose itch" and rubbing I learned that rubbing neosporin in your nose is a bit annoying, but really helps with any sort of nose itch problems.

A deviated septum is easily remedied, and insurance covers it.

I feel alot better today compared to yesterday. In the middle of the night just out of the blue I got my appetite back and ate like a horse. I woke up to mild nausea but not to bad and of course the shakes. I noticed a blood splotch in my right eye, must have burst a small vein while throwing up yesterday. I am really looking forward to rehab tomorrow. I only wish they would let me bring a computer so I could continue to document everything here on this site.

My wife is in for some trouble while I am gone, our Jack Russel and Rottweiler have become spoiled rotten having me home everyday. I am looking forward to the stories. They are terrors when they get in a playfull mood. 1 small terror that you cant catch and 1 big terror that even when you catch him there is nothing you can do with him. hehe

I dont think I have ever lived without dogs. I have had some good ones. Cinda was a black and silver german shepherd. My parents could not spank me or my brother in her presence, she considered us her pups I guess. Teddy was the greatest dog I have ever had, he was part beagle and part alaskan spitz. We lived in a trailer park and he was about 2 years old. I was walking to a friends house one night and was about a block away. My mom was taking Teddy for a walk and had just stepped out of the house, he must have heard me screaming, I was being attacked by a large pack of stray dogs. I thought I was a goner and out of no where Teddy was in the middle of the pack fighting for his life to save me. I started kicking dogs left and right and within a minute or so they ran away, me and Teddy were both tore up though. I got several stitches and he almost died. My mom took out a loan on her car to pay his vet bills. Teddy lived to the ripe old age of 17 though.

that's a great story DAC! It's amazing how animals become so close to us.

I hope tomorrow goes well and we will miss you over the next 30 days. Looking forward to hearing how great you are doing when you come back.

            Love Always,

I love all animals. For several years we had a wild deer that would sneak up to our house and we would hand feed it. He eventually became a big buck and I am sure sired many babies, he was huge by the time we moved away. I am in Oklahoma where almost everyone hunts, I have never been able to bring myself to kill an animal though. I remember when I was maybe 5 or 6 my older cousin shot and killed a bird with a pellet gun and I cried all day. Of course I am paying for that all now as my jack russel destroys my water shoes hehe.

                Dazed,
You sound like a new man! I'm so glad you're feeling better. We all will be missing you the next 30 days but look forward to your return with the added benefit of better health. I can understand your good mood-anticipation of tomorrow. I sense you want to get on with this. Good luck and get everything you can out of the next 30 days. We will be sending positive thoughts in your direction. Until Sept. Kriger Ta Ta For Now

I feel good right now and I am looking forward to rehab. One thing the nurse kept telling me is once I get my appetite back they serve some awesome food. They better for the money I am paying them. I will try to leave a last post tomorrow before I leave. God bless you all and thank you. Not sure I could have reached this point without all of you. Never give up, never quit and know that life can be better.

Hey, just an update. I got sick and it got really bad. It took me out of action for a while. Today I was able to get out of bed a little bit and was able to hold down solid food. I am still going to rehab but they would not accept me while I had this nasty bug. My physical strength has returned somewhat and I hope it gets even better tomorrow. Its like waking up from a dream, viruses and bacteria are evolving so quickly. They can really knock you for a loop.

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say Hi and to let you all know that I aint done in yet. And...my GAWD I dont know what my wife fed my dogs this morning but they are farting like a fat man on a cheetos diet.

What a surprise, Billy, you have been sick again, for nearly a week this time! And still unable to go to work or rehab... It has been such a series of amazing difficulties you have had!

                              Dazed,
Don't leave. You've got lots of people in your corner and concerned about you- I think you know that. I think you also know how email communication can easily be misunderstood. Please don't read smart ass into a post that might have just meant to bring levity to a very serious situation. You have brought some laughter into your posts a time or two. Think twice before dropping what may be an integral part of your recovery after rehab. Wed want you here with us to fight this battle...I repeat, don't leave! kriger
