    Hi Dazed,
I see a light in your life and a new future for you- that is so great! Do you still live in OK? My life in Utah is 102 degrees today. It sounds like a hard day to tackle yark work, but kudos to you for doing it- I would imagine you dropped a lot of toxins during this day. I hope you have a restful sleep and a good tomorrow. I am buzzed tonight, but hopeful that tomorrow will bring a better plan for me. kriger
Friday night turned our to be more than I could handle this week.

You hit the heat and the sweat just sucks the drink out of you. You get weak though, make sure you have a cool place to retreat to and plenty of cold water.

This sinus infection picked one heck of a time to show up. The split second I sit up from bed it all drains and makes me puke.

Ok, drank a few and then started with the yard work. Cooking dinner now. 3 big fat chicken breasts with black beans, rice, rotel and marinara sauce in a baking pan. I added cilantro and onion. Ive never made this dish before so I am hoping for the best. I have home made rolls to go with it when it is done.

A post like that will find your dining room table full of MWO members.

The meal was a huge success, my 14 yr old son had 2 helpings. My picky little daughter had 2 servings of the chicken. My wife said it was horrible with a smile and devoured everything on her plate. My stomach wont allow me to eat it though, I would be hurling within minutes. It felt good to cook for my family again.

I am finally ready to go back to work tomorrow. It will be rough with the nausea and the shaking but I think I can manage it. 1 full day of work and I will be on my way.

Please don't give up DAC. You have come too far! Has the ativan not been helping? It helped me tremendously. Perhaps you should give your doc another call. I would think that U would be feeling somewhat better by now. Please let us know how u r.

My wife saved me, I hit the bottom and was just not in the mood to go on anymore. She reached down and grabbed me by the throat and woke my stupid butt up. I wasnt drunk I just was not in a good place. The old emotianal stuff is coming to the surface now. This is a painfull and yet amazing journey.

Good to hear that she pulled you out of it. Once you get completely AL free and get past the withdrawal phase you will be so relieved that you made it there. You will feel much better than you do now. I'm sure you've heard it 1000 times, but no one ever wakes up in the morning wishing they had had a drink (or another drink), usually it's the opposite.

Best of luck to you! You can do it!
