I read in a book today (my daily reading)

"Anytime we fall down in doing anything and we get back up and have another go at it, count it all as progress. It is getting up that makes a warrior. Getting up doesn't mean the warrior is fearless or that he is totally self-confident. It does mean that he gains confidence as he persistently keeps trying, and he fully expects strength to come as he needs it."

Just thought it was how so many on this site approach beating this demon. Hope it helps someone.

I love it ~ that is often how I feel about the people on this board: True warriors!!!

It also reminded me of Thomas Edison when asked how many times he "failed". His response: "I haven't failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work."

As long as we keep trying, we'll find a way to reach our goals.

I love words of inspiration. Yours hit square on the head as it's all about action. Doing. It doesn't have us down wondering if we're even worth the getting up nor spending all our brain power on figuring how we got down there in the first place. Thomas Edison and Dolly Parton: Separated at Birth??

The Edison quote was in my textbook this semester for the class I've been teaching. I like good ol' Dolly's as well! I should print them up and stick them on the fridge.
