    Hi all --- Rust makes the point -- we have to find a substitute for AL that can give us that "getting away from it all "feeling. Reading does that a little, maybe a movie -- but they are not always possible and take work to get into. I am still looking for that get away from it all magic potient. Meanwhile I guess I will stay with my antabuse which has given me almost 90 days sober. But oh how I would love a glass of wine (well ...actually many glasses). Hope all achieve their goals today.

      Hello All
      Just a quickie today. I have to head to work at the Nursing Home from Hell. I just keep in mind that not even the patients want to be there, and perhaps I can make them feel better for 8 or 9 hours. I can't get started on how I feel about our healthcare system. I will be late. O2- OMG, laughing my ass off. You have a very creative mind. Hope you all have a Great day. Bessie-I was going crazy with repeated, stressful thoughts in my mind, especially when trying to go to sleep at night. I talked to a couple of women at an AA meeting about it. One of them suggested that I try deep breathing exercises and focus on my breathing, and ask God to remove these thoughts. It also helps to realize that I am doing the best that I can to improve my life. The rest is out of my hands. The other woman suggested that I say the Serenity Prayer at night, and really focus on the words. It seemed to help. I have been sleeping much better. I hope this helps. Gotta run. Hope u all have a Happy Friday!!

        hey OneTwo that is SO FUNNY... how the HELL did you come up with SEPTIC TONGUE???? There are some who would look for deep dark significant MEANINGS in that choice of problems!!! OK next time, try bladder infection! It is private enough not to be terribly embarrassing but too private to invite any further inquiries from the cheddar-devouring booze-swilling guests... And you don't have to try to look as if your TONGUE hurts!!!
