So glad I was sober

I always worried "what if something serious happens when I'm drunk?" what would I do? I had a semi close call a while back but was not that drunk and you get sober fast when your scared. Well, my son flipped his 4 wheeler today and I had to take him in for x-rays and I was so glad to be sober. Turns out his wrist is only fractured and he is fine thank god. It made me think of all the times in life good and bad that are so much better enjoyed and endured sober.

Glad that your son is o.k. Will he still have "his badge of honor" on when he goes back to school?

Uber glad that you were sober !!! Yahoo!, that must be such a great knowing that you were all the way there for him, although even when there is not an emergency it is such a powerful feeling of always being there in the then and now of our lives especially for our kids.

Keep this day in your arsenal of reasons not to drink.
