Hi All!

limers- When my friend shared her news- I was thankful to be wearing my shades! I held on to the kitchen counter and tried to play it cool. I don't think you're suppossed to have your cake and eat it too, right?

one2many-I can't believe that happened! I would just die! I think it's kinda funny. Do you look back and laugh about it now? My husband would be totally fired from the friend finding job! LOL You have your mood set to angry...what's up? You okay?

nurseindistress-I will give my best, too. That really is the BEST we can do. I'm nervous about it. My heart races when I think about 30 days. I haven't had 30 flippin' days since I was 15 years old! Yikes!

Re Birthday plans --- I was thinking about this the other day .... I think I'm going to ask to be taken to the Zoo ---- it's something I haven't gone to since taking my kids when they were little. Just hope it's a nice day.... might have to think of a back-up for rainy weather since we've had so much of it!

On Day 3 here and feeling good. It's 6:00 pm and I've still to start dinner, but have fixed my diet tonic and lime instead of a glass of wine, so I should be alright.

I totally thought about mentioning the zoo! I thought about it last night while trying to go to sleep. That is soooo weird! I swear I go to bed thinking about you fine folk.
I just made a diet tonic and lime. Thanks for the suggestion!

Hello all
yes, I think we all have some fear of being AF for 30 days. But, for me what is scaring me the most is that I have a Dr. appointment in sept and I'm getting blood work done so that is keeping me motivated to be AF and pray that nothing is wrong with me as a result of AL. i'm on day 3 today and i can tell the difference, I have more energy. Hopefully by the time I get my blood work done mid Sept my body has had a break and everything will be fine.

We can do this!

Hi all! I have been on this site for nearly a year, but making very little progress. I would love to join the "30 days hath September" group as well as others. I have just been lurking around the site for quite a while because of being ashamed. Tired of being miserable .. I know you can all relate!

I'm also going to give it my best shot come Sept. 1. My daughter is here for a 10 day visit for her best friend's wedding (I haven't seen her for 5 months!) and there are all sorts of celebrations leading up to it. I was hoping to be AF for most of it, but that wasn't being realistic. Once she is gone, I'll be able to concentrate on getting my life back the way I want it. I need this site to keep me strong ..... so hopefully we can all pull together and help one another out! GO TEAM GO!
