    WOW! akgirl what a great idea,
    Me: 45 married female
    2nd marriage for 13 years in November
    2 kids from previous marriage, 24 year boy, 22 girl
    11 boy with current hubby
    Administrator for Orthopaedic Surgeons
    Hobbys..hmmm not drinking wine any more, like to cycle and watch my little man play baseball, he is a left handed pitcher so that is exciting

        Who are you people?

        I'm 47, married with a 16 (just about 17)-year-old son, a senior in high school. A daughter who is 12 and is in seventh grade. They are both good kids never been in trouble, great students, the loves of my life. My hubby and I have been married 19 years and are having trouble. He's an alcoholic (it's "beer time"!) and that seems to suit him just fine. I own two very successful businesses. I'm a published author, an activist, a giver to my community, a gardener, a craftsperson of many crafts (when I'm not drunk), a reader, a couponer and a very sad daughter of a mother who never wanted me and a father who left his family when I was 3. I have a dog and a cat and a great sense of humor. I've also been told I'm very good looking. I used to say "no, stop, not me" but now that I'm 47, BRING IT ON, BABY, BRING IT ON!

          Who are you people?

          Hi everyone,
          36yo Mum to 2 boys (3.5 & 20months)
          Married for a year to a husband who I adore but don't treat well enough (he's the kids dad)
          I'm an aussie living in NZ so all the family & friends are back in Oz - can get lonely.
          Work full time for a clothing company - with really nice people.
          I like painting, day spas, go to the gym, love to cook & bake, reading & getting drunk...well actually, not really enjoying getting drunk anymore it's like a chore i MUST do...so I need to change that. That's why i'm here and :new: for the second time!

              Welcome back Angel!! You can do it.....I know with the kids the days seem 30 hours long(I have 6), so make those extra hours count in your favor and all will once again be right with the world. Keep coming back and you are in my thoughts and prayers!!

                Who are you people?

                I am a 57 yr old male with 9 beautiful grandchildren (twins born 19/9) and have a wonderful wife of 39 yrs. I work with children with ID and Physical Disabliities.Have two cats a burmese and an Oriental; both spoilt rotten. Have travelled lots, Asia UK Egypt Europe and Afica. Love music,fishing gym work eating and of course drinking (Sav Blank is my devil) Thanks everone. Just love the thread:thanks:

                      Me.Female 51 ( last week)
                      Run company with husband of 28 years.
                      Have son 26 daughters 24 and 18. youngest and eldest still at home. no grandchildren that I know about.
                      Enjoy socialising, travelling, history and Art- try to incorporate together- when my others half lets me!
                      In life we can live out our dreams its true

                        Hi everyone
                        I haven't posted for a while but am always checking out the posts most days.
                        Ok, bit about me:-
                        I'm 32, have been married for 10 years now, although we are having major problems at the moment. I have two beautiful baby girls, 3 years and another just 10 months.
                        I have just started up my old job again in the healthcare field working just 3 days.
                        I love running, keep fit, travelling (although don't get to do that much lately!), reading and watching DVDs
                        Suffered from post natal depression and just starting to emerge from the black cloud
                        Not winning my battle with AL yet but fiercly trying

                                This is actually a great thread - thank you for doing this!
                                Me - 43
                                3 kids - son, 17, daughter 14 and daughter 12.
                                Profession - finance and marketing - job - energy sales
                                Interests - obviously, I LOVE to ski, but then the arts - ballet, piano, ....No, I'm not some snob - look back "energy" sales.
                                Youngest of 5 kids - so I'm the "spoiles brat" - yea right!
                                I totally get this thread...thanks for posting it.
                                Sometimes, when one is "new", it can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating - some of you read my thread when I was there...but we're all in this together, and we all need the support of each other. No one is really "new".
                                So welcome, and let us help you!
