I had quit drinking from Jan 7 to June 21 and decided I could moderate.
Boy was I wrong.
So it's day one again for me, now I know it has to be AF for me for life.
I could just bang my head against the wall, for having to go through this again, the shakes and uneasiness, it sucks.

It is sad that you were not able to moderate. that is my ultimate goal and I have been there with much success.

So sorry about how your feeling now..Been There Done that,many times...I needed to try to MOD. to prove to myself that I couldn't...Now we are both WISER and don't need to try that again.Now get a plan to get what you REALLY want,SOBRIETY!!!!

I am with ya. I did the same thing. I was only AF around 40 days when I went back to test the waters. I know that I cannot Mod. I am back on Day 2. Welcome back Mya.

Hey! I'm sorry you have to go through all this again. I know it's not easy. I hope you start feeling better soon. I honestly found that i couldn't mod. I'd start off well but i'd slowly slip back into ol habbits.

I`m so glad you came back. I think it`s such an easy trap to fall into, you know.........lengthy AF period progresses to an attempt at mods, which goes disastrously into fully-fledged drinking again. So, OK. like myself, perhaps mods isn`t for you after all. Good on you for having the guts to acknowledge that and recommit to AF.
