Shame that the spa trip seems so far away now.....:upset: The food was fantastic and healthy - ate so much but never felt bloated and I don't think I put on any weight. The spa area was amazing, the whole place oozed well being and relaxation without being at all stuffy. You could get in your robe in hour one, day one and only take it off to swim or go to bed or have a treatment. Despite the posh dining room no-one batted an eyelid if you went to dinner in your robe! (I didn't cos it felt a bit odd) Rooms were lovely, staff were great and the facilities were top class. Tried a bit of Hatha Yoga (you want me to do WHAT with my legs??!! :H) which isn't for me but I did Pilates and it reminded me why I used to go years ago - more my sort of exercise and really good for riding. Exercise classes in the pool were just pant wettingly hysterical!
We went to a brilliant talk one evening on auras and did a bit of levitation!!! I'm pretty cynical about stuff like that and thought some of it was bollocks but watching 4 women pick up an 11 stone lady with just their finger tips was quite impressive! :H
No desire to drink Al at all, even though it was readily available and lots of people were drinking around me. I think that reinforced my thoughts about why I drink - to help me relax (I was already super-relaxed), to celebrate (nothing to celebrate - already having a good time) and to kind of take me away from my work load/surroundings (no need). So I am going to put in place some little rewards and relaxing ideas and time away from work/surroundings to help me manage al better. And I'm going to book in to the spa for next year!!! YAY!
Anyway, that's enough. If you're in the UK and you want to know which one I went to PM me. It was seriously good value for money.
Have a great Sunday all.
