    ODAT-Tuesday

Becoming --- I too am sorry for the loss of your buddy " Teddy". I lost 2 in the last 5 years --- my cuddly Shih-Tzu who was 13 and my big (173 lbs!) Great Dane. She was huge, but such a loveable creature. You can see the love and loyalty in their eyes, can't you! Take your time to grieve as you would any close family member, because that is what our pets are.

cheech, lvt, savon, boss, starting, bandit,

Thanks so much for the support :l

We just buried him in the back yard. :upset:

My husband was beer drunk, it was so hard and I'm so disappointed in him

At least the hardest part is over. Thanks again for the support. It means the world
      to me. :h

        ODAT-Tuesday

        Hi Tuesday ODATs,

Wow! This thread has grown!! Welcome all. Sea, your new job is part of the new you. You've been working toward this moment for months and the time has arrived. Hope it was all you hoped it would be. I just know deep in my bones that this place, your sobriety and the new job are the start of a cherished life. I couldn't be happier for you.

Cymru - your avatar looks utterly delicious. Either I'm coming over for dinner or you're coming here. You pick. I'm hungry. LVT - I have been fatigued as well, and it's been over a year since I have been a serious drinker (every day, often drunk). I'm sleeping 8+ hours a night and am ready for bed by 9:30 PM. I know I'm in the throes of the advanced age malaise aka the big M, so my hormones are all over the planet, but I wasn't prepared for fatigue! Dear Savon, you've been here every day and I feel your struggle, but I also know you're going to make it because you want it so much. And thoughts become actions. Your reward is waiting just around the corner. And noma'am - day 3! That's great!! Missed you and am glad to hear from you. Welcome Anni and WAY TO GO boss.man. You the man!!!!! Uni, just hang in there. We're all mere mortals here. Some days we shine, other days we s_ _ t. And finally, Becoming, I'm so sorry your dog passed away. I know this is huge for you. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that both you and your dog had a great run. Life wouldn't have been the same for either of you without each other. Hang onto that. And with that, I'll sign off on Tuesday. "Tomorrow is another day . . . "

He's the only one who stayed by my side no matter what. He never yelled at me or judged me or asked for more more more. He just loved me. Now he's on the back porch in a box. I'm so lost. I'm so sad. My heart is just broken. I loved him so much. :sulk:

I hope you all have a good ODAT today :h
Oh my....my boy is 11 and is getting slower and slower, and it breaks my heart. So I know how my heart would break if something happened to him.

          I am so sorry......:l
