    TODAY IS THE DAY

    I am inspired to give this a try. I think the support of the website will be helpful. I don't want to go to AA meetings but need to know I can check in with people and be accountable. Thank you all for your postings and I could use a prayer from anyone who is willing to assist me.

    Agoodmom Welcome, I will be happy to say a prayer for you. Don't give up on AA, I resisted for a long time and found a womens group I just love. I will miss them this weekend as I am going to an out of town lecture. I just sent a message to one of the members asking for prayers and strength for this weekend.

      You have my prayers. Remember that He can't do the hard work for you, but He will be there giving you strength to continue.

      The people here give wonderful, non-judgemental support.
      My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
