I thought it would be fun to share our worst ever hangover stories. We (I) need to print them and carry them with me where ever I go. :H

I don't have any good ones, as all my hangovers are the same....panic attacks, headache, etc.

All I can say is.........its always a complete utter nightmare having a hangover when you have small children to look after.....like myself....I cant even bring myself to re-tell any stories and have to re-live any of those days!!! Sorry, I'm a party pooper arent I!!!! I have to concentrate on the great days when I am sober, full of energy etc......XXXX

Oh, so many hangovers and "morning's after" it's hard to pinpoint the worst.
My worst ones are either terrible for me personally, or hell for those who Ive managed to drag into my insane world at the time.
The worst morn after for me EVER, has to be waking up down the side of the embankment off the A19 (northeast england "A" road) in my first car that Id written off... bumper, panels, headlamps - all smashed... and being dragged out by a passing lorry driver.. "Tom", if I remember rightly.
Id drank a bottle of whisky and a bottle of martini and decided I was ok to drive.

When I next woke up in hospital, I remember it was the first and last time I ever saw my dad cry... yet the first thing on my mind was where my next drink was coming from.

There are many bad hangover memories but I think my worst all time hangover was about 5 years ago when I went to my BIL & SIL's out of town wedding and got totally wasted as it was just free flowing AL. It was held in a marquee and my husband said afterwards I was like one of those big time wrestlers bouncing from one tent wall to the other. I remember wondering why the walls did not hold me up. At one point I fell over backwards on top of a neighbour of mine whose chair collapsed under both of us - I still to this day avoid that woman. Anyway we were staying the night with older friends of the family who lived in the area and when I woke up in the morning I threw up in their shower and had to try to squash the diced carrots and peas (which I had not eaten) down the drain. I had to drive home that day but had to keep stopping to throw up on the side of the road. At one point I was pulled over on the side of the road throwing up when my brother and wife who had also been at the wedding came past - they thought I was examining a flat tyre or something when I was actully puking my ring up. They had to swop over cars and drive me home while I lay dying in the back seat dry retching. I spent three days in bed and three days later I still had the dress on that I wore to the wedding. People are still talking about that. This should probably go in the "you know you are an alcoholic" thread.
