ODAT Thursday
Hi Vera-b --- I didn't realize your Columbus day coincided with our Thanksgiving Day weekend ... so yes, it's a holiday weekend up here in Canada too! Can't say that I'm looking forward to it, .... it's an obligation that I have to fulfill -- having the "out-laws" for dinner. Have been polishing silver and dusting off the tops of picture frames... yes, I have the MOL from Hell.... disguised as a sweet little lady and the "best mom in the world" according to my husband. She is the champion of backhanded compliments.... and I don't want to take any more of this! ...any advice from you guys?
I guess I'm really resenting the fact that I have to be in preparing a Thanksgiving dinner on one of the nicest weekends we've had all summer! I'm actually giving up a golf game tomorrow (which would probably be the last one of the season) to continue getting ready for this dinner. Sorry I vented so much ..... just ignore it.... felt good to get it out somewhere though. I will deal with my anger and try and shrug it off.
