And Im sick of keeping him.
He still pays ?500 a month for his other house, yet he's living with me full time and Im payingfor everything cos his ex-wife left him in so much debt.

Feel like he's having his cake and eating it at the minute

Chelle --- I feel for you and understand..... I too am struggling very much. Seem to have a run of a few days AF, but then give in. Once I do, that's it for the night... I just keep drinking. Sometimes I've been able to mod, but that only seems to be when we're out... when I'm home I just keep pouring it for myself.

I am concerned about your dog too ..... it doesn't sound very good ... can you get him/her to a vet quickly?

Gave him some water and a quarter of a paracetamol... put a blanket over him and he's smiling again.. looks more 'alert'... will keep u posted

As you can see, you are not alone. I too am struggling, Day 3 AGAIN, but I have had more AF days since joining MWO, than I have had in the previous four years. Chin up Girl!!!

Must admit, I, too have had much more AF days since joining this forum,,, but its amazing how many things can trigger us off... either stress from kids/partners/job/finance etc etc

Hi all, I too have not been able to AF for more than one day in I don't know how many years. I first downloaded the mwo book back in end of 2006 and have tried the program a few times. Just have such a hard time taking so many pills so many times of the day. My own fault I know. I HAVE TO MAKE THIS A PRIORITY.

So I feel you're pain. Supposed to be in a meeting with my new boss in about an hour, but just had to have a drink!!! Now I'm thinking of excused to not meet with him. PATHETIC!!!

It's SO HARD not having an AF day... let alone trying to string a few AF days togeter isnt it?
I find Im actually trying to think of a reason to drink (and it aint hard!) which makes mego straight to hte off-licence to get some booze in.

I went to my local "boozebuster" shop today and she stapled my receipt in this littke booklet thingy.. saying that if I went back there 6 times, then I can get 25% off my next wine order.. How's THAT for a motive to quit drinking??? LOL

Thanks C12. I really need to come here more often. Everyone is always so supportive. I don't know. Maybe I feel like I'm not trying hard enough so I shouldn't show up. Know what I mean. Kind of like showing up at an AA meeting drunk.

Heyyy no! That's what I started this thread for! Us alkie's who are still under the influence. Dont stop posing...I NEED to hear an see your thoughts of what you're doing at the mo..
