Sweet GG no such thing as waiting for supps or modding!!!!! Take the reslove to get throught this day AF is the best approach put those thoughts off for tommorrow and then put them off for another day and another day after that and see how you feel.

Capt. dear, I am frustrated because my baby brother finally got 2 months sober after 25 yrs. drunk and was just diagnosed with terminal cancer...The timing seems so unfair..

Good morning ODATers!

Not much to say. Still feeling wierd after my emotional set-back. But proud to be staying sober through it. I need to find something fun to do tonight. Busy day tomorrow volunteering at a blues festival in town. I will get to see a lot of old friends I haven't seen in a while. Last night a GF said she wanted me to go on a trip to Europe with her. She's retired. I said I'd love to but with the stock market and the divorce and near future unemployment, I didn't see how I could. She said she'd "help out wiith that part" - she has lots of money. Her initial thought was a trip down the Rhone or Danube River or such. Wowee! That would be cool. I'll cling to that thought today as my happpy thought. Also a company asked for my e-mail address to contact me for a resume for a position a friend recommended me for. I don't even HAVE a resume but I will by Monday. Well, I guess I feel a little better after all. :H Honestly though, the thought of a new job brings out some feelings of anxiety over inadequacy. I guess that's normal.

Have a good Friday, and stick to your limit be it 0 or 3 and how good you will feel on Saturday AM!

Good Morning All and happy Friday to you!

Hoping it's okay to be a ODAT'er. As that is definately how it has been for me since starting this journey.

Just thought I'd share.....I feel like I've had some kind of breakthrough. Something feels different. Went to bed last night completely AF. I could have easily had just 1-2 but the fact is I just didn't want one. And for me that is huge as I have been a daily drinker forever it seems. I've been listening more to the cd's, maybe thats the extra push I needed. Whatever it is...I hope it stays with me cause it feeels great.
