wip, your story sent chills down my spine. How truly awful, another testament to the pure hell alcohol puts people through. I'm so glad you're here.:l
Pan, well done on being sober and able to pick the kids up. Wow, do our stories sound the same, soooo many times I said no to my daughter's plans simply because I did not want to be out after happy hour. The first time I was able to pick her up was truly liberating ~ I felt like a real grown up mom! I'm so glad to be making new memories instead of the blur of just sitting and drinking. It's tough at times (especially with negative comments), but very, very well worth it.
