    ODAT-Sunday

Hey where are all the ODATers??
Are we sleeping in? lol I have done nothing but sleep this weekend thus far. Today I have a "coffee" date and lots to do, so no laying around in bed. Today is also the day that I have been worrying about as far as staying AF goes. Football tonight. One of my biggest triggers, so I must make a plan. Hope u all remembered to set your clocks back, and that you all reach your goals for the day. Now check in everyone.lol.

Hey there Sea & all to come
Mmmm yes Sea, had a gorgeous lie-in, glad you did too. Was only woken once in the night by the cat scrabbling around, guess she had a mouse. No sign of it this morning -hate walking downstairs to find some poor dead creature. Gives me hope I suppose, at least I'm still here!

A sober day yesterday so my day's plan can go ahead. After an hour or so here I'm planning on getting the house straight - it needs it.. Wouldn't be surprised to find last night's victim...

Sea, I hope you find a successful way to overcome the football trigger. That would be a big achievement right?

    Love to all

      ODAT-Sunday

      Hi ODATers!

Well, I've made the decision to do a 7 day AF. I think I need it. I'm probably going to post a separate thread for support. It's hard for me with hubby drinking lots every night.

Good to see you again, goldie!

I'm with you, sea. I have the hardest time with football. I was going to put off my 7 day stint until tomorrow just because of that then changed my mind.

My house is a mess, too. I'll be cleaning but with a bit of resentment as hubby has the day off hunting. I'll get over it. I do every weekend.

I laid around all day yesterday and ate and ate and ate. Not good. Today's a new day and a fresh start for me!

      Take care,

Becoming, good for you on deciding you can face the football AF
I'm in the UK & just guessing here, but is it to do with relaxing with some al & then yelling & swearing a lot? I like the idea of that happening without al... could think of it like some kind of assertiveness training. I'd love the chance to shout & curse & it being OK. Maybe I should think about becoming a footie fan...
        Good luck

          Morning everyone!

Just a quick check in and hello before heading to work! Yes, retail....urgggg. Anywho...last couple days have been a bit miserable...ok, I have been miserable, lol.

But since I am working, I am always in good spirits helping people out and just merely chatting. Hopefully my good mood will stick when it's time to come home and hopefully the house isn't in shambles! Seems to happen on the weekend while I am at work and kidlets are home with daddy-o.

I also think today I am going to get my fat butt on the treadmill and start something regular and boost this body of mine into a fat burning machine---LMAO!!! Seriously, a little exercise would certainly help me out!

Hope everyone has a good one......you guys can make it through football with no booze! If I can do UFC AF then you guys can do football!!!!! I dare ya!

goldie, that's it exactly. A lot of cheering and yelling and swearing. It's a great way to vent, especially with booze. There'll be no booze here today.

            christy, I take your challenge!

Hello All! I slept in with the extra hour until 6:10. Back to the grind tomorrow, up at 5 (I generally work 6-2) ! Feeling better again after 2-3 rough days. I think it was a touch of a cold. Day 16 now and it feels so good to sleep. I think I can still sleep for hours more to make up for decades of lost sleep.

Sea - try Odouls but make sure it's extra cold. The stuff tastes so bad you won't NEED a second one.

Christy you need to try a carrot and stick with the kids and daddy-o. Something to entice them to put things away before you come home, or else it's oatmeal for dinner... ;-)

Lots for me to do today. MIL visits in 3 weeks, and I've got junk piles all over the house. Special breakfast this morning: Tofu-eggs with spinach and feta, turkey bacon, and decaf coffee. Aren't diets fun!

A lovely morning here in Minnesota. Had a challenging evening last night with family/drinks around, but persevered and am grateful again this morning. There seems to be a lot of new learning to do, especially with the holiday season approaching. I feel like I am in class non-stop, trying to retrain this brain to do all these events AF. But this is a class I have to pass, so onward, upward, forward, whatever.
                Happy day to all...

Good morning all! A very quiet, but beautiful and serene day here in Virginia. I have been on duty since 0515 with only 6 more hours to go. Had to kick the day off with a Monster Energy Drink...tough time sleeping last night...I'm going to see Saw V tonight pretty late so I'm hoping that will tire me out enough to get me a good night's rest...I do get to sleep in tomorrow though! Now that I have discovered all the motivational people on here I can hardly wait to log in each day just to blog and see how everyone else copes with the exact things I do everyday.

River---you and I are in the same boat when you say you feel like you are in a class non-stop, trying to retrain your brain to do all the events AF---I couldn't describe it any better! We will all pass with flying colors---one team, one fight!

Ond day at a time - ODAT. I asked the same question. Made it through this weekend, Friday being my worst night but chatting on this site, live, was not only fun but an amazing help. I am feeling strong and confident this morning thanks to all my new friends. It is a wonderful fall day here in Illinois, sun shinning into my office and a wind rolling through the fields outside. Hope everyone has a great day!

OK, everyone seems to be fighting the good fight!

Boss-man, what the heck is a tofu-egg? I wasn't far from you in breakfast. I had quinoa topped with steamed red swill chard, poached egg (the kind that comes in a shell :H) and a hummus lemon sauce. Not exactly eggs benedict, but healthy.

I need some motion and air so I'm going to cut the grass....finally. I know your sick of hearing me talk about my intents to mow the grass.

Friday night I was visiting a friend and his beer was sitting beside my waterbottle. I went to reach for his beer thinking it was mine! I was so surprised! Then I had a flash of how good a cold beer tastes and was rather disappointed that mine was the water bottle. Oh well, 138 days sober and I can't believe I almost picked up a beer.

Gotta get outside - the time change getting dark early really throws me off.
