    Good Day ODATers
    Just a quick check in as I slept late and have to get to work. The weekends that I work are no problem being AF. Day 5 again today, plan to keep it going. Best wishes to all.

      I meant to say, Becoming, that what happened to your brother is HORRIBLE. How could they axe him so close to retirement?? That should be against the law (esp. since he worked there for so long). Wonder if he could sue?

        Yea!!!!! Christy thanks for starting the thread. To all new, old and in between hope you are doing your best. I had a long sail today with the family it was wonderful no thoughts of drinking maybe I should do one of those solo around the world trips an easy way to reach 12 months abstinence. best to you all as Mr T says think positive.

              It's been a few weeks...

              Hi all ODAT'ers, I am back to day 1. I havn't even been here for weeks, and I have no excuse really. I have had some family issues (not my immediate family) but it has been a tough one to sort through and has raised old feelings etc... long story....

              Unfortunately, I have dealt with it with the help of a chardy or 2 for the last month. I do feel as if I am growing as an individual, but I regret I am back to day 1 again.

              It is good to see you all here though, I hope to be back more often....

                hello, I haven't been on here for while, I managed 3 months AF earlier this year but I have slid back into it. I started November AF , but went out last night with my friends and got very very drunk. Husband is not happy and neither am I! So from today I will be AF again!! I'd forgotten how good this forum is, and I will be posting lots of inane ramblings to keep my mind off the booze!!!

                    savon, no, it's totally legal. The problem is my brother is such a negative person. He's so "woa is me" and down on himself all the time. I don't know. I'll be honest, though, I hope he's not planning on moving in with me!
