    IT NEVER RAINS, IT POURS!!!!

    Hi everyone.
    Well i'm doing well with my drinking. I haven't yet decided if i want to mod or just give up for ever so until i know i've continued to stop drinking. However, as the saying goes... It never rains... IT POURS and that is what it's doing now.

    SO here i go...
    My boiler decides it had enough of working for me and packs up leaving me and my family with no hot water, no heating, no washing machine, no dishwasher ect ect
    My car decides to pack up so i take it in to the garage and it costs me ?760 to replace some bits.
    My second car went into the garage after the gear box started making funny noises and had to be replaced costing ?1100
    My baby girl was rushed off to hospital yesterday with suspected meningitis...

    I can carry on and on AND ON but i'll stop moaning my ass off now!

    Sorry people, needed to get that off my chest.

      Hi Michelle
      Please let us know how the baby is. I had to get my car fixed too, in order to pass State inspection; cost me $300, and it still needs repairs. Ugh...Congrats on staying AF.

          hope your baby girl is okay

          I'm sorry you're having such a rough go of it. The cars and boiler are replaceable, worry about your baby girl. good for you for not folding, I would've picked any one of those reasons to go off on a spree. My thoughts are with you and your baby...Arwen

                      Hi all.

                      Thanx for all the kind words. I guess i'm not so strong as i did end up drinking last night AHHH. I honestly don't know why. I don't see the point at all. It doesn't make me feel better, it just makes me feel shit and tired. Oh well. Day 1 today.

                      My baby girl is ok. She's not eating but taking milk. She's tearful and touchy but lots of love and cuddles should help.

                            Hi Michelle,
                            I'm glad to hear your daughter is OK; that had to be quite a scare for you. I'm glad you're jumping right back on the horse for Day 1. We all learn from those lapse times so take it as a lesson and move onward. Sometimes life throws an overwhelming amount of obstacles at us....the trick is to NOT run to alcohol. After all, that won't make the obstacles go away...they might even get bigger. Now that everything has hit you at once, sit back for some quiet time (hopefully). Kriger
