Starting Day 3 AF!
Well done - that's brilliant - keep going - the first few days are the toughest - especially day 4 and 5 I find - but soon you'll start sringing them together. Just read on here / post when things are tough / keep yourself busy, read some of the "what I hate about drinking threads" to really motivate yourself. Keep us posted on how youre doing.
good luck and well done again

Starting Day 3 AF!
Just got home from a conference for my 5 year old and was told how she needs improvement. Ok - that really annoyes me she is only in K5, crying out lound give her a few more months. They said she only knows 5 letters out of the alpa. I came home and mixed the letters up and she got all but three. Sorry just had to tell someone how annoyed I am. Did feel like a beer for a moment, but it is starting to go away. I will not cave in atleast not today. I will make it to day 4 af, I promise! One day at a time. Hope all is well with you all and thank you for listening to my rambling.

Starting Day 3 AF!
twosox,
When my son was in grade 5 his teacher told me he needed to be in the special education class. When I asked why she said that he was withdrawn and didn't interact well with the other students, etc. After our conversation I was so worried and stressed. He had lots of friends at home and never had problems at school before. I didn't sleep at all that weekend, stayed up all night on the computer, trying to diagnose what was "wrong" with my son. To make a very long story short, I began to sneak in the school in the afternoon, about an hour before he was to be picked up. (I'm normally supposed to sign in.) I listened outside his classroom and found out the teacher had been leaving her class early and had been having a teacher's aide, who was assigned to ONE child, run the entire class.
My son is now a senior and has over a year of college credits under his belt already. Don't listen to one teacher. I mean, always listen, but don't worry too much over it. Please, don't get too stressed over it. It's just one teacher's opinion and they're human.
Take care, :l
