SO MANY SUCCESS STORIES OF AF DAYS POSTED TODAY- WHAT YOUR NUMBER?

dingbat;467004 wrote: Morning - day 8 for me. Had a bit of a moment last night. I went to clean the disgusting kitchen, it was already dark outside (5:00), opened the fridge and there was that 30 pack staring at me (no - we do not mess around in this house:H). Yes, I did want a beer! But, there was the peanut butter sitting on the counter, so I got a spoonful of that and sucked on it. After 2 spoonfuls I was good to go.

Anybody else ever tried peanut butter????
Not as such, but I have noticed when I eat protien rich foods I don't really feel like drinking- might be an idea to carry a jar around!

33 Days AF, 1/2 glass, then another 30 days, just a sip (it sure didn't taste as good as I remembered!), now 140 days into this.

Yes, I think I just might do so. I think it's a combination of the protein, magnesium and sugar that does it? I am becoming convinced that many of my anxiety and drinking issues have a basis in a sugar metabolizing problem (as well as other things). When I was religiously taking the supps and keeping to a strict low carb diet I was doing great! Gotta get back on that horse!

Krigs 100 AF days - well done!

I am a modder but still incorporating MANY AF days and weeks into my lifestyle. Day 5 for me.

Dingbat that's a great idea to have some PB when craving, now that you mention it I used to eat a lot of PB on toast with a drizzel of honey for sweetness... always hits the spot.
