Hello ODATers-

I'm back on to day 6 but was mod over the holiday.

Akgirl- yes, 13 is an expensive age to shop for. 17 is even more expensive..it doesn't get any cheaper. :upset:

Newday- keep trying you will get past day 4. it is a hard day to get through I will admit.:nicemeeting:

Be- My house has been so neat and clean too! I'm doing morning dishes BEFORE I go to work!! That amazing!

Uni- You can do it:goodjob: be strong! You've been doing so good!

Good morning all / or evening or whatever! Another day "waking up" and not "coming to" and that is a beautifuyl gift. About the 30 days "nitpicky" thing, for me I always take it from my first fully sober day.

I remember about ten years ago, when I had 5 months AF up, and F**ked up, and I was wailing on about how miserable I felt, when an old chap I knew (with over 20 years AF) said, "What time did you wake up, Kath?"" I answered " about 7.20" to which he replied, "well you are 40 minutes more sober than I am, I got up at 8am and it's only about TODAY"

That was a very precious thing for him to say at that time !

Looking forward to another sober day, happy, joyous and free!

I have to go shower, as it is time to get ready for work (blech), but wanted to wish you all a wonderful day!

Day 17 for me today, and it is really unbelievable. Most in a decade. It all feels a little surreal, because I honestly never thought, for me, it was possible.

30 days...WOW Sea...that is STUPENDOUS! Great job! :goodjob:

Sea - WTH is that thing in your avatar????

Back from shopping. I finally broke down and bought a Wii. It's so confusing for me, because I'm just one of those ole-time PC gamers and all the accessories are wiggin' me out!! So, I guess we need another one of those nunchuck thingies and I was thinking about getting my son the nerf set, but it's $60:egad:! I already bought the Boom Blox, and that was $40. Cripes, the kid's only 6 years old!!! I also got him some Sea Monkeys!! If worse comes to worse, and he gets tired of them, I can always feed 'em to my fish:H!!

kaponium - oh yeah, "waking up" rather than "coming to" is one of the things that really keeps me going. That, and, well, I really wanted to have some memories of my life to look back on!! So much of it is already a haze!!

I have no idea what that thing is in my avatar.lol. I just thought he was furry and cute.lol. I woke up with a screaming headache, had alot of trouble sleeping today. I am off to work,blah. I have tomorrow night off. Thank God. I will check in in the morning. Sweet Dreams to all.

Hi Sea hop you are sleeping sweetly as I post this - and all you other Northern ODATers too. Not a bad day here, well I haven't had a drink or drug, so I guess it was a bloody brilliant day....I am just so dam sick of the dam RAIN!!! I still have no driver's license until next March, and in true alkie style, HATE asking for favours. Never mind, there is so much to be grateful for....no doubt I shall see you all in the new post which no doubt will be kicked off shortly.
