HI Binge Girl, Welcome to MYO, where we all lean on each other with no judgement. I can only tell you from my personal experience that I had to hit Rock Bottom, in order to start my climb back up. My rock bottom was going to the hospital to see my daughter right after she gave birth, Drunk. I don't even know how I made it to the hospital to visit her. Well my family all knew I was DOA (drunk on arrival) and my guilt overwhelmed me to the point of drinking for 1 more week. Then 1 week to the day after my grandsons birth, I took a deep breath and quite cold turkey. Oh, it was rough, but the options were to be cut off from my grandson- I used the buddys at this sight for the first few weeks heavily, even went to my first aa meeting
So here we are, waiting for you to lean on us, The first days are the roughest, keep close to this website, but I can personally tell you that it gets easier each day. I have 2 months of sobriety to claim, and hope you join on our journey
The rewards of will far outweigh the hangovers
