              We're back - thank you guys for this - that is so sweet.

              They took her in, got some fluids in her. We managed to get her fever down to a reasonable (102) level - 102 is still high but when it was peaking at 106 I'm loving 102. I think it was the fluids that helped, she was dehydrated from not being able to eat or drink. She is resting now - has some colour back, isn't lethargic or dizzy anymore and by the end of the day tomorrow the anitbiotics should kick in and she'll be back to her old self. Phew - that was a little scary.

              Thanks again for all of your kind wishes guys. Means a lot.
              Every day is a day to start over and remember that I am powerless over my addiction. I will no longer give the BEAST any power over me - he can go straight to hell.

                        Take care of yourself, Uni. We've got your back in the prayers department.

                        PS--did the doctors give any indication on the blood tests??
                        PPS--When my eldest was little, she constantly had extremely high fevers for no apparent reason--they called them "fever of unknown origing." DUH! Scared the crap out of me--she is now extremely healthy, beautiful and brilliant, as your young one will be if the MWO gang has anything to say about it!!!

                          UNG - I'm doing fine thanks - just a little tired.
                          The blood tests showed that her white blood cell count was off (can't remember if it was low or high but not normal anyway) but through bloodwork and a urinanalysis determined it was a bad kidney infection. So then it was just a matter of trying to keep the fever down so she didn't pass out on us until the antibiotics kicked in. I hear ya though, high fevers are really scary especially when accompanied with lethargy and dizziness - I'm just really glad that it's over!
