Good morning Nest Dwellers!

MINUS 30Celsius here this morning! That shouldn't even be legal!

How is everyone this morning?

I'm on day 4 AF and day 6 ( Edit: Noooo... it's SEVEN DAYS now! Hah!) NF (nicotine free) and I'm not chewing that awful gum, either! YUCK! My loved one asked me last night how I was doing, really, with the no drink and no smoke. He thought I seemed somewhat stressed or strained. Not sure, really - I'm tired, have been for the past couple of weeks, but otherwise I'm in a really good place this week, actually. I've made a commitment to another MWO member to stay AF until Friday (at least) and I do feel very much bound by that. Of course, I've made a commitment to my better half to quit smoking - and feel bound there as well. So, in a way... this week, there really is no question for me 'should I' or 'shouldn't I'. Not, that the thought doesn't creep in - but it's easily answered - I can't. I gave my word. Basta.

Wow, have more coffee dear - maybe you can ramble a bit more! Sorry! :H

hi sun good for you its tougher to give up smoking then drink,quit 28 years ago smoked 3 decks a day,kinda like my drinking just spread the drinking over a longer period of time,im also on day 4 of not drinking but seems a bit odd i have no desire , but its fine with me gyco good luck

28 years ago??? Holy Cow! Actually, and maybe I'm shooting my mouth off too early here, it really hasn't been AS BAD as I expected. I hope it stays that way. I'm using Chantix.

Good job on day 4 - for some reason day 4 has been impossible to conquer for me. Until today! I will be victorious. Dammit. LOL

When I first started here in July, this was my base thread, meaning it was my "safety zone". We had quite a few new members at the same time and this is where we hung out and got to know each other. We would post about our stories little by little. We shared what was working for us and what was not. We shared things we had researched and asked a TON of questions. We shared a great deal of support too! It was a place where we began to clear our heads and plan our journeys. After some time here, some decided to join the modders, others the abs. This was somewhat of a neutral zone.
