      Good for you Sunshine, and I agree with Savon - buy yourself a treat, seeing as you are saving all that money from ciggies and booze. I have tried to figure this out, but it's hard - I probably spent over $100 a week on wine, and when drinking daily, I also smoked alot more ciggies, so that is a big cost too! (It's like $12-13 for a pack of 25 here!!) So I am saving alot not drinking and smoke 2 ciggies at night before bed - should cut those out too, but I'm not ready to. I have really noticed this drop in my spending. The only one using the debit card every day is my BF, as he smokes way too much (probably 40 cigs a day!!), but I'm working on him!! Much to his chagrin!

        Savvy and peanut.. I think you're right!
        I've decided spending at least one weekend afternoon at the local riding stable... getting my horse fix, helping out and getting to ride. Last week, my toes almost froze off. So, I think some hideously ugly but warm barn boots are in order. Probably around $80 or so? Ouch.

        Let's see here.. as far as spending goes... I spent around $100/week on wine and $15/week on smokes (I'm close to the Indian Res) - so, that's $115 I'm saving, right? Well, in THEORY anyways.. LOL.. I eat like mad now!

        And, btw..I think I decided that since tomorrow will be day 6AF, I might as well make it 7. Someone had posted a while back something to the effect 'just say today I won't drink - if I really want to, I can tomorrow'... I think that might actually work for me. Takes out the desperation.. I think. So, for now, I'll say... I won't drink Saturday either.. if I really want to, I can Sunday. It's just one more day. No biggie.
