Thursday night after a lunch and then drinking again before and after dinner I decided to ask my husband to help me. He was absolutely delighted (I have been in the bad books many times) and was especially encouraged that I had already contacted (MWO) and had made Dr appointment for Monday. So I am off to a very good start..

Have been for an early walk, will window shop, wil do mainicures, keep busy - and dump wine when decided have had quota. But I know that this will be hard as I have been weak many times.

I've been doing double duty this past week or so. In addition to keeping up my AF status I am now 10 days NF!! Wow, this has been a challenge. It seems I've had little time to do anything else but focus on my two quits. That's OK though, I'm happy with my progress, never knew it was possible.

Looking forward to the weather clearing after rain every day this week. Anxious to get out & see how the garden has been growing. Also looking forward to spending more time with my grandson Matt tomorrow. He is 6 months old & has been my biggest motivator so far.

See here I am posting AGAIN today!!!!! And I just reread Sea's post.....honey, if I'd won the big bucks, you'd been on my list...of course right after the signed agreement to FOREVER love the packers!!! :H J/K wouldn't do that to ya!!!
So took my son to the doctors again today...put him on MORE meds....may not let him go see his dad on Sunday...and I have to take him to the specialist/Child Pulmonologist in Sioux Falls.....AGAIN...I already did this when he was 3...we just left this guy like 2 years ago....So back we go AGAIN!!!! I'm going to the allergist first...I know what's wrong with his lungs...I want to know what's triggering it....I think he's developing more allergies that we don't know about since being tested a couple years ago!!
Anyway...all these new people....I'm having such a hard time keeping everyone straight....I know...get out my notebook again!!!
Well...again great job to everyone on their accomplishments!!!!

Done with day 6. I am so excited tomorrow will be day 7! Tonight I drank a whole 2L of Diet Dr, Pepper so I am sure I will be up once or twice tonight to hit the potty! So worth it though, to make it through Friday night AF!

Evening Peep,

Got home yesterday from a short trip. Trying to get caught up outside. Cleaned out our small backyard pond and will finish the waterfalls tomorrow. Poor hubby is stuck with all the heaving and hoeing of heavy rocks and such this year.

Haven't had a chance to caught up on all the news from all my dear feathered friends. Hoping everyone is well and had a great holiday. Dill, Chops, Sea, SD, missed you gals.

Mom2ajt - ONE WEEK WHEN YOU WAKE UP!! I am in awe of you. Hooray!!!!!

I didn't do so well after my big AF Friday. In fact misbehaved Saturday night - and got into trouble with b/f. If I just said nothing - it wouldn't have happened! Idiot that I am! (It was all about what 17 year old dautghter should not be doing/wearing etc.) b/f in her defence.

Can anyone tell me why sometimes my message says that I am not permitted to send. Is it because I have taken too long to compose? Or ?? A couple of times I have typed my heartfelt message, only to have to erase it. It says to refresh?? Love lavender Blue.

Lav blue, I can't say I know why that happens, but I can say it is very frustrating! I do think the website times you out. When I have hit the refresh, the post sometimes successfully goes. Do you know how to refresh? Go under 'view' on the toolbar and click on refresh.

However, my advice is to always copy and save your post before you hit the post reply button. I can't tell you how many times that has saved me from great frustration. When I get bumped off from being logged in, I just log back in, paste the post that I had saved in the message window and the problem is solved!
