I hope that's ok . I guess it's 375 days but its like with babies -once they reach a certain age you don't say "oh he's 72 months old..." Haha!

Got my CD's today...will start tonight I think with the first one...been doing meditation cd I had the last 2 nights....I am hopeful this will help.
Took a different route home today so I didn't drive past the deli....really poopy day at work....gotta get out of there soon...eye surgery is the 25th...I will be off about a week...may work from home if I cant drive or even if I can....need a break from the crazies.....

Hello All,

I am glad to report that I survived the evening and feel great. First, I could not wait to get out. I forgot how obnoxious, loud and smelly people in bars are. They push, spill drink... After about 10 minutes of being moody, I found my vibe and had an awesome time. I have noticed that the more my friends drunk the more problems they had keeping up a conversation. By the end of the evening I was the one telling the stories and everyone was listening. When the final bell rang, we headed off. I went home to post this on MWO, they took a cab to carry on drinking somewhere else. I feel like I left at the right time, just before all the tears come out and all the fights break out...

I also noticed that non alcoholic drinks at the bar cost almost the same as alcoholic beverages! So even though I was drinking J20 and mineral water I still had to buy rounds like I did before. Not really fair but still better than getting hammered. How can I opt out of the whole rounds system? I feel like I am so cheap now, where as a month ago I would have considered this a very cheap night out. No wonder typical boozers don’t like sober people.

That did not sound like a pleasant experience. I assume everything went fine, as I have never had a colonoscopy. Feel really hungry myself now. Hmm a burger sounds awesome but I will have to settle for something that I find in the fridge.

Allan, I'm going to a 50th birthday party tomorrow night - can't wait! Been cooped up in this house too long. I actually do ok on nights out; being home is harder. And the round thing; I find that I only want 1 or 2 diet cokes over the whole night - you should not feel obliged to get a round.
I am always the driver - costs me petrol money and saves them a taxi. No, I am very generous but I am not going to buy alcohol rounds when I am not even drinking. You probably don't even want the amount of soft drinks they buy, so just opt out. None of my friends expect me to and I reckon yours would feel the same way. If the shoe was on the other foot, what would they say?
