Rainy-my DR prescribed after some discussion. Although she wouldn't do it unless I also did some kind of therapy, AA, etc. So, MWO is my therapy. Like Hippy said you can order it online. Just BEWARE of the drug and what can happen if you drink and possibly with what you eat like vinegar, ketchup, dressings, cooking wines, cleaning products, etc. I myself have had no reactions to foods but I do wear gloves with cleaning products. I don't want to take the chance. Congrats on your new found faith.

Antabuse has literally been a life saver for me and my "cure". Like you said, it just takes away the option to drink. I have to tell mysef "move on" nothing to see over here. And within a few minutes the thoughts pass because they just can't be indulged. Not possible. It has allowed me to learn new habits, to change my mind set, to find other interests that don't involve a bottle.

Until I 've got that year under my belt and been through every day of the year and every cycle of my work and seasons, each day will be a first in coming up against some obstacle. So I just need to learn how to handle it and move on to the next one. Checking each day off my list.

K9 - Here is a picture of my daughter and her long haired chihuahua. His name is Todd because he looks like the little fox on The Fox and Hound movie. Somehow we gained custody of him. She moved away and the dog stayed. Go figure! I call him my Crazy Mexican, among other things. No offence to long haired Mexicans!

Fin!!! I have missed you man! Keep on trying...I failed at day 40 over and over and over...until one time I didn't. It was Lav and Byrdie that said they'd kick my ass if I drank so I knew better than to let them down! So...get to day 33 and I will say the same to you! (with love, of course)

Overit - So THATS WHY my bathrooms are a mess, I've been EATING the cleaning products. I couldn't figure out why they weren't working!

Hi All.....just a quick fly in to the nest tonight. I see the nest has been buzzing! Exhausted mentally today from dealing with the hospital re my FIL. Was to be discharged and then at last minute doctor changed the order because he got sudden bout of diarrhea the hour before an ambulance was to transport him home. They were rushing him because they need the bed.....but he still needs to be there. His skin is so pale with a yellow tinge as well that I pointed out.....so more blood tests tomorrow.
Also exhausted physically as I only got about 3 hours sleep. I'm completing day 23 AF and still waiting for some restful sleep.
I go to bed early because I'm so tired, but it doesn't matter....I never can get to sleep, or stay asleep.
I think I'll take a prescription sleeping pill tonight....I need some good rest.
Hope everyone has a cozy night in the nest.......extremely cold in my part of the nest these days!
