Newbie here

Just getting started. Up all night reading the book and motivated. Saw my DR this afternoon to get Tomapax (sp>).She would not prescribe since I am on low grade Effexor and thinks there is a problem mixing the two. Willing to go off Effexor to try this. I am so frustrated! Went online and see no contraindications with the two. Any experience with Tomapax & antidepressants?

Hey Ron and Welcome! You might want to have a look over in the meds section...gosh, I don't know exactly how to direct you...just look at the catagories on the right hand side of the New Posts...you'll see the meds you are interested in. I don't think we have any nesters taking that...if you want to give us a go just using your own 'grit' then just jump in!! We have folks in all stages of their quit. Read back and couple weeks and get to know us and where we are coming from...also see the link to the Tool Box in my signature line below..you'll find 100's of tips and coping skills to help you get started.
