Good job on day 5 SD. 5 sort of put me over the hump. At least the anziety and the rants about the anziety wasn't as bad. Have you started on the drink tracker? It's nice to see those ) add up.

LTG-Once you move to Florida are you going to start complaining about how cold it is there when it's 60 there and fridged here?! How you had to put socks on with your flip flops cause your toes where chilly?lol

Sunshine-A long day for you and now you're going to tackle the frig? You are a brave woman.

Dill-Was that bookworm wearing a green robe. That might have been renewal in disguise,trying to sneek that Heidie person into the nest to watch the superbowl.

Morning all! It's a beautiful morning in the Southern Hemisphere area of the nest - sunshine but not too sweaty yet. I'm perched on my twig with my coffee watching the flock of cockatoos that visit with us sometimes. I don't think they're native to Singapore - but there's a lot of them and they're really noisy! Hope you all have a peaceful sleep and a great Sunday. B x

Hi, all

Busy day for me, so I got to keep sobe but right now would really like a vodka tonic. Feel lonely.

Up early--hubby went to coach at 8 AM. I stayed home, cleaned house, did laundry all that crap. Keeping busy. He Got home past noon and right to the TV for sports, although I was dressed and ready to go. So I waited three hours, then we finally left to DO SOMETHING. We went shopping, out to dinner, visited friends for a bit. I bought some clothes --75% off, who can resist? Nothing major. Came home, unloaded the car. I wanted to go out tonight to hear some music or dance or something. But five minutes into the house and he is downstairs with the TV--sigh.:upset:

Don't get me wrong -he is a great guy, loving and patient and kind. But I am bored.

Hey Upnorth. I can totally identify. My Husband loves his job and I can sometimes feel a bit left out. He comes home, we have dinner and he sits down (in front of the tv) and falls asleep. I can get lonely but have decided to make the effort and have my own life. I'm starting a course in March, and have been more social and getting out of the house more. I'm also encouraging hubby to socialise more with work contacts which gives me new conversation which is great. Boredom is my major trigger, but I seem to be getting to grips with it. But I have yet to get Hubby to Dancing Lessons! Keep on going up north, could you plan something that would take him away from the tv?

Well, I don't have the trouble with the TV... but Mr. Wonderful has a lot of jobbies out in his shop. When I think it's enough, I firmly inform him that he has a date in the Jacuzzi at whatever time... he always shows up... even on time! :H

Hello my little ones.....it's past 1 a.m. and I see you're all fast asleep in the nest. I hope you'll let me sleep in a little tomorrow as I had a loooong night at work. A disgruntled patient 'went off', punching two staff, who both needed to go to the hospital....I was the third staff in the fray, and am unhurt, but am getting too old to be wrestling around on the floor like I was.......especially late in my second of consecutive 17 hour shifts......anyhow, I'm pooped....nothin more to say right now....except, missed you guys...and go Cardinals!!

Holy crap renewal, that's a tough work schedule you got....tough in every way.

Betty, are you sure you are not married to my fiance? "gets home, hits couch, falls asleep" ??? But Im the workaholic here, am finding it a good distraction to keep me out of the pub. BTW, saw that Menopuase the musical coming to Sing sometime in Feb, Im def getting a bunch of girls to go see it, can you do same? You can always join us...Upnorthgirl, you cna come too...the boredom can be a real shit, what can I say.
Dill, thanks for the recipe, Im definitely going to do that this week, the man does love his Moms banana bread - and I love the idea of chocolate chips added.

Christ, SunGG, thats what I need, a jacuzzi in the backyard, just right next to the BBQ, it would totally extract himself from the couch.....and thanks for the B-day wishes, had a lovely day

Hey, Lilmea, sorry I didn't get back to you about Kentucky. I got a phone call from my brother and we were on for a long time, then hubby wanted to watch a movie. But, to answer your question, YES I am glad we don't live in Kentucky. Those poor people!

Neuro-good morning to you. Tennis is about the only sport I can watch on TV.

Dill-waving to you sitting over there all warm and snuggy in your fuzzy robe. Newal will be so proud of you for cheering on the cardinals. I'm not much into sports but my hubby will be glued to the TV.

It's suppose to get close to 40 today and then another cold, cold spell. This winter has really been long enough.

Neuro... glad you had a nice b-day... did you do something special? I just looked up Rafael Nadal... eh... not quite my type (aside from age)... Hahhaa. or were you talking about his tennis abilities? :H

Dilly, love the robe, hate the super bowl! However... you guys enjoy it (why or HOW I will never understand....)!

I've been having 'thoughts' (I know.. don't hurt yourself, Junior) - not the good kind, neithers. But I'm fending them off. It's funny, I even had to retype that just now... initially I wrote "So far I'm fending them off". There's a subtle shift there but this time, I'm more aware of it. I will NOT cave. I will not plan or enable a slip.

Anyways... I'll try to actually do an hour or so of work this morning and then, it's off to the barn. Hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday - be well!
