erhm I have had 14 cups of coffee while waiting for everyone to wake up, bank holiday monday mornings are great for browsing around, though I did want to take a walk along the beach, put on the long finger for now.
Any chance you could fill my cup fennel?A gentle hand may lead even an elephant by a hair

Hey folks....I just wanted to let you all know that if I suddenly disappear, I will be back. The problem with my friend is worse than we thought. It's a heart aneurysm. They are trying to get her moved to a different hospital with the specialists that can do open heart surgery. I'm waiting to hear where, etc. and might take off to be with them.
Just wanted to let you know."Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.".....Carol Burnett

Fennel,
Have just noticed your mood is "no worries" which must mean you're half Australian! That's "our" term for everything. I say "our" because I am an English person living in Australia but I will have citizenship at the end of this month.
Hilton Head sounds good. I went to South Carolina about a million years ago to play golf. We went in September / October and the bloody travel agent didn't tell us about hurricane season. We got there and the bottom of the hotel had been wiped out the previous week!

It was also my duty to protect Mrs. Fennel from spiders, crabs, shore birds, gators, and various flotsam and jetsam, which I did with my usual dexterity and virility.
:l
The Bi-lo sounds lovely. I am a huge fan of corporate names that seek to further undermine the literacy of our population. "Kash n Karry" - which was my particular favorite - has had the decency to change its name to "Sweet Bay."
Sorry to hear about the slug attack. Dreadful. They are difficult to avoid at times, them being so fleet of foot. Anyway - UGGG - poor Mrs. F! I do hope it didn't leave a trail on her pants.Coco

I think the poor slug was stunned by the sudden "flicking" of it's slimy little body onto Mrs. F's pants. He didn't have a chance to leave a trail on them, although he probably did leave a trail on her beautiful, alabaster hand. She could be a hand model. And a foot model, now that I think of it.
