and won!! An old buddy came into town and wanted to meet for happy hour at our old watering hole. I got there early and drank cranberry juice with a lime and then....another one!!!! He wondered what was up and I told him I was trying clean living for awhile. Not too tough to say. AF 13 days with 2 weeks tomorrow.

And I still have to go to dinner with 16 people tonight!!!!! At least I can wake up and enjoy the balmy 40 deg high for tomorrow. Normally happy hour leads to a very (VERY) big night of drinking.....12 - 18 beer range!! This will be good....

Excellent! Just be careful of those times and places. Although you were able to beat out the beast tonight, another day and time may be different and lead to trouble. Not trying to suck any feelings of success - just passing on from my own experiences.

Today I am the winner

but it was tough -- lots of wine and martinis. Good food and fun. I won this time....twice in one day but this is something I want more and I will be very thankful in the morning as I will actually get to enjoy a Saturday......
