Lou, you can do this, just think about it , what you have achieved so far is amazing. You are facing up to things maybe for the first time in your life. You are talking here, you have told you mum, can you imagine that I wonder how many times you have wanted to tell her and bottled it? Well this time you have. Just take it slowly, if you are like me you want it fixing all at once, but let it unravel in its own time, and be gentle with yourself. We don't know your mam, but the advice you have received is sound I think, let her come with you to the docs, but ask her to wait in the waiting room when you go in. You are an adult, and Wayne is right, now is the time to put yourself first, you are doing this for you, not your mam.

The main thing this place is doing for me is instilling such hope. Here are people who show us that life can be good. Your life now has taken a different turn, don't turn back Lou, keep pressing on.
