QUESTION OF THE WEEK, does your Mate Know you are a MWO Member?

Mu hubby know. At first when I was on the computor so much he would come in to check out what I was doing. Once he knew it wasn't some hot new on line dating service for swingging singles he was ok. LOL.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK, does your Mate Know you are a MWO Member?

Nope, the BF does not know, nor will I share it with him. But my son kind of knows. He peeks in when I'm on chat. Thinks it's funny that a mom goes on chat. Not sure he completly understands what its all about.

I like that this place is mine, I rarely get privacy and this feels like MY little world.

      :l to you all

QUESTION OF THE WEEK, does your Mate Know you are a MWO Member?

My BF knows, we talked about it a couple of weeks ago. He's very supportive - doesn't think I need it as he doesn't think my drinking is that bad but he has said that whatever I feel or need I should do and he knows it makes me feel better to have this outlet so he supports it 100%
Every day is a day to start over and remember that I am powerless over my addiction. I will no longer give the BEAST any power over me - he can go straight to hell.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK, does your Mate Know you are a MWO Member?

My hubby knows, but when I 1st joined MWO, I didn't tell him. I was kinda nervous at what he might think, but really more for admitting that I had issues with AL. This was several years ago, and I would usually only get on MWO during the day when he wasn't at home. In recent months, however, I have been much more upfront about my MWO involvement. I am not sure if he knows I do chat regularly, though. I know that to be successful, I need to be honest with my husband about what I am going thru. But I understand everyone has different levels of comfort.

                          Hi DLW

Crickey, ..... saw this posting earlier on ..... NO and NO AGAIN, neither my husband, rest of the family or friends know. That, for me, is so brilliant about the site. Maybe that says something about me and I couldn't go to face to face AA meetings .... but I think this is a great site and certainly people seem to be getting what they need out of it for them 0 hope you are too and thanks for starting the thread! Good luck with your venture!!!!

QUESTION OF THE WEEK, does your Mate Know you are a MWO Member?

I have not told my husband about MWO. He desperately wants me to quit drinking. Since we have gotten the "issue" out in the open, I have gone way underground with my drinking. I mean, I am trying to stop and I want to stop, but in a way, pressure from him is counterproductive. Am I the only one that feels that way? Probably not. Well, any how, we live under the same roof, and spend a lot of time in the same rooms. He sees me typing on my laptop, so I guess he knows I'm on some kind of forum. But I have not talked with him about this tool in my toolbox. I love him very much, but can't share this journey with him. He used to be a smoker. For years I entreated him to quit. But then, I backed off. I just asked him not to smoke in the house. I tried not to pressure him beyond that, and that was only because we had the kids. Anyway, he found his way out. Now I'm trying to find mine!

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

No...no one close to me knows I come here for support. And I'm happy to keep it that way.

My Husband knows. He was sceptical at first, but is supportive as he has seen how my drinking habits are changing for the better. I've shown him a post I've written and told him what my MWO 'name' is, but other than that I keep you all pretty much to myself! B. x
