              How are you doing Pan?? The weekend is looming, what are your plans? You must treat yourself to something nice this weekend, k. Take the money you would normally spend on twaks and go and by something, anything.... a bunch of roses, the best coffee, a breakfast out, just something.
              You too Starts..... I'm gonna buy me a new pair of jeans (cause I've been eating so much I can't fit into mine anymore LOL)

                Well, the weekend is coming to an end, but every day is a weekend for me anyway. I haven't had a ciggie for almost 58 hours and it is driving me nuts. My plans were to spend some time on the beach, but we have had torrential rain. Going down there shortly now it is fine and sunny again to try and get the ciggies off my mind. Actually drove to the shop yesterday to buy some - I couldn't stand it - but turned around when I got there and came home.

                  Hi Pan
                  Well done on not caving - you dont want to have to go through that again do you. Have you tried the l-glut for cravings? You can get it easily and it is really great.

                    Good on you Pan, just keep distracting yourself -- stay busy.

                    My hubby started smoking again yesterday -- he tells me that it's not possible for the two of us to quit together - WTF does that mean .... I haven't been moody have I??? LOL
                    It has been tough watching him light up but maybe it'll be good for me as I have to come across someone smoking at some point.

                        Hi Panicked,

                        How are you going?

                        I gave up the fags a year ago, New Years Eve 2007/8. I have not had a single ciggie since, and that was with my hubby puffing away right next to me - god bless his soul.

                        One of the tricks I found to be really effective, was to add up the amount I would have spent on ciggies, and buy myself something really nice every week (or month in my case) I found that the focus was on what I was going to buy myself rather than cigarettes, and I found myself wanting this more.

                        I also was too proud to show my hubby that I was going to fail, I bloody squirmed for the first couple of months, especially at drinkies time, but I made it, 13 months NF.

                        And the best part is, I feel so proud of myself - cause it's not easy. Keep it up. Post regularly, we are all behind you. It is possible.

                        You go girl.

                        hugs
                        Terri
                        Hey.....Life is good:yougo::crazymonkey::cheering:
