Hey, don't give up giving up! God cliche alert eh? But really, it does get easier, just remember that being free to drink as much as you like doens't mean that you -have- to drink okay? I wish you the best of luckThe way I change the past is by not repeating it

Hi Claudia
I am home alone too much and that is why I keep slipping. I have started to go to more AA meetings and I try to get out with my sister and cousins. Spending free time with sober people is key for me. You can do this. We are here for you."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

Claudia,
Have you read the toolbox thread yet? It's in the Monthly Abstinence section, first thread? It has a lot of great information on dealing with cravings and identifying and dealing with triggers.
I also joined the newbies nest and 2 daily affirmation threads. I read and read other post. I even keep a notepad by my computer and jot down the good ideas from other members. Exercise is great. Spend some time and starting working on your life plan. There are a lot of tools here and a boat load of support. Think positive and good luck to you.AF since 7/26/2009
