hi guys

I have been missing for a while so I have no idea what is going on in everyone lives. Today it has poured down with rain in WA, ironic really as today is the day I decided to collect my water tank. I ended up looking like a drowned rat. Hopefully the rain will travel across the country in the next couple of days to SA and Vic.

Hello everyone and thanks Tawny to directing me where to find this thread!

Great idea Pan to start it! I've had so much trouble keeping up with the other side of the world.. although having some lovely friends there keeps me motivated of course.
It's just that while I'm working I've no time to say more than hello & goodbye at the opposite end of either day so it's hard to keep up.

Now I have also been around for ages and am NOT just starting out on MWO.. although sometimes I think I am perpetually starting out.. I actually have come a long way believe it or not.

I'm in NSW and have lived rural for years, though i'm in a big town now. My ex was a volunteer country firefighter for 15 years so I know the fear their families live through every time they go. I've been through a close call in a fire myself so I know some small part of the terror and unexpectedness of what people have been going through. Many of the the people where I live now lost everything in a fire only a few years ago so they are all going through shock with the terrible stories of what is happening in Vic.

I'm still praying the weather gives some mercy to you guys in Vic and praying hard as can be that some rain finds it's way down there SOON!! Specially to the Murray Darling Basin.

So glad you've started this thread and it's SO nice to meet up with all you fellow time zoners!!

Evening everyone! Just been making some beautiful music. ahhh, sooths the soul...............
Had a little bit of light rain this morning, just north of Melbourne, but unfortunately, it didn't last long. Forecast is 30c thurs. and 38c friday, so still on our toes here.

Confused

I have become really confused seeing this thread and then my dim brain has realised that some of you are getting up and it is the morning! This has freaked me out as I am extremely bad on spatial awareness, time related things!! It's kind of nice though as it feels like the whole world is moving around on its axis. I haven't been drinking I promise. I am still 38 days AF! Hope all in other time zones have a great day :h
