A virgin caesar is a regular 'Caesar' without the vodka.

They make it with clamato juice and vodka. You can get it spicy. The glass is rimmed with celery salt and they typically put a pickled asparagus or a pickled bean in it for you to eat.

                      I'm sober!!!

Hi again ... I'm home and did not have ONE drink!!! Was interesting to be around all these people drinking and not drink but I did notice while sober that there are lots of people who don't drink. Before I would never have noticed them ... Here's the Ceaser Recipe ...

Cousin to the Bloody Mary, the Bloody Caesar (more commonly called just "Caesar") is a Canadian concoction made using vodka, Clamato juice, seasoning and garnish. For a Virgin Caesar, NO Vodka!

Clamato juice, the main ingredient of a Caesar, is a mixture of tomato juice and clam broth, which sounds offensive but is actually tasty and flavorful. Clamato is available at any supermarket or convenience store.

Although Caesars are not common in the US, they are a popular cocktail in Canada and can be ordered at any bar or restaurant and bought pre-mixed in cans or bottles where liquor is sold.
                      Prep Time: 5 minutes
                      Ingredients:
                      1-2 ozs of vodka
Clamato juice, either regular or spicy
                      Worcestershire sauce
                      Lime or Lemon
Tabasco sauce or similar hot sauce
                      celery salt (for rim)
celery stalk and/or pickled bean and/or dill pickle and lime wedge (for garnish)
                      ice
                      Preparation:
Rim a pint glass with celery salt
                      Fill the glass with ice
Pour Worcestershire sauce into glass to the count of three (three good, solid shakes or more if desired)
Squeeze of fresh Lime or Lemon
Add Tabasco to taste: for heat-lovers, 7-10 drops.
Add 1-2 ounces of vodka (or no vodka for virgin Caesar)
                      Top with Clamato juice
Garnish with celery stalk and lime wedge (or dill pickle, pickled bean or asparagus, or cold shrimp)

Variations on the above standard Caesar recipe include replacing the Tabasco with horseradish.
