Hang in there! It sounds like there is too much fighting in your head? I had to change/modify my THINKING. Once i did this, or at least started to address it, (easy to say, i know) giving up the grog was easier. Have you read the 'toolbox' thread in 'Monthly abstinence' section? There is a great read on 'gratitude vs. deprivation' thinking. Sounds like you would relate to it, after finding long term abstinence difficult? For me, it was my thinking that was the problem, more so than drinking. Just some thought's. Best wishes...............G.
