Hey all,
just talked with my doc and although he is very supportive of my hopes of moderation he does not believe those of us who are genetically addicted can mod. Very disappointing. I am willingly to do what ever it takes and will take it "one day at a time", but damn. I have also found that because my drinking is still masked as "acceptable" my friends are not supportive of my decision to change. Once again I head down a "major" path without the friends I thought were true blue. It is okay - but hurtful and disappointing once again. It is hard to do this when everyone else is telling you there is no problem..... Sorry for the vent...
