    I'm Back

Hey everyone - I'm back after several weeks of travel and mayhem. My mother in law had a stroke (she is doing fine now in therapy); my step daughter had her fourth baby (played grandma to the oldest three - ages 5, 4 and 2 for a bit); traveled across the country with my immedicate family for my step sister's wedding and have been helping my youngest daughter plan her move into her first apartment.
Anyway, I am back and also will be starting Topa today. I ordered online and it too almost two months to receive my order. I am hopeful, as I have not been doing so well on my own.
Had a really hard time at the family wedding - lots of alcohol and temptation as well as some really screwed up double messages. It is so toxic at my Dad's house - I am not sure how much I will be able to go there until I am really on my way to recovery. I have to find a way to take care of me. I am so bad at that!
Anyway, hello to everyone and blessings all around!

    I'm Back

Good to see you back. I too have been away and haven't viewed posts until recently. Like you, I haven't done too well, or I should say I'm not doing as good as a few weeks back. I am drinking every day, but slower and much, much less than before MWO and topa.(no more than two glasses vino) I really don't want to drink on a regular basis. I want to drink only on special occasions and not because I feel I have to or need to. I have been so busy, that I have slacked off a little on some of the program and that isn't good. Hope we both get back on track.

      Hello Wellseasoned,

      Congratulations on your new beginning!

I am interested to know where you ordered your topa from considering it took TWO MONTHS! I am also waiting and am looking in the mailbox everyday (see "I'm freaking Out" in general discussion). I have a second order on the way that is hopefully not intercepted :crossed:

      Best of luck to you!

        Eliziby -
Glad to see you are still around - hey - the important thing is that we keep comming back, right? My first day of Topa was a success - with the exception of some wild itching late in the day. I felt like my skin was crawling. This, on top of the constant running to the bathroom I have had since starting Zoloft. Between the running to the bathroom and itching I don't have time to drink! Tee hee. Seriously, I am more determined than ever to beat this after spending time with my family. I just can't end up like my Dad. I love him so much and it is so very sad.
        Have a good day

          Imagine
          Thanks for the congrats!
This is my third attempt with the MWO program - but my first with the Topa.
I ordered my Topa from an online sight that I would not recommend. It was only after I called my credit card company and had the charge suspended that the drug arrived - after almost two months and many promises on the website's part. Then, the package it arrived in was not professional and did not leave me filled with confidence about the drug I was putting in my body. On top of this, I only have 60 - 25 mg tab, which will only get me through the first three weeks of the program. Then, I am faced with how to get the next supply and all the stress and wait if I order online. I am seriously considering speaking with my doctor or seeing if I can do it in three weeks with the supply I have.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and the same back at you! We need to give ourselves some credit for the effort - it is a brave and honest attempt to better ourselves.
          Best of luck to you

            I'm Back

When I decided to join the MWO gang, I ordered the sups, book, and cd's from the MWO site, but saw my Dr. and got a Rx for the topa. I had it (the topa) before I got anything else. If your Dr. will work with you, that is the quickest way. If you have health ins., it will be covered by getting it this way. All it cost me was my $10.00 copay for a months supply. I continue to get refills without seeing my Dr. I have to go back every three months for a check up to see how I'm doing, and get a new written Rx for the topa. This might be the best way to go.
