Day 5 AF
Day 5 AF here. I just reread my last post and laughed. I was unable to go on with things not because I did not want to participate in the big MWO picture, but because I could not post. It just seemed so bizarre to try and talk about what was going on to people I had not yet gotten to know a bit, and I was experiencing so much anxiety that I froze up. Locked up like a clam. It seemed I could either talk about stopping drinking or do it, I could not do both. Does this happen? In any case, I tapered off much faster than I had intended because drinking wasn?t fun under the circumstances. I felt like poo, albeit increasingly sober poo, and now the acute anxiety part seems to be over. Just a dull headache in the afternoon. I hope to join in one of the ongoing daily threads now that I have my bearings a bit. Thank you again for your words of welcome. LBH
