Hi all, Bluz keep up the good fight, I also had reservations about topa and it potential side effects so am not using it, yet. Kinda funny when I consider the amount of AL I have gotten through over the years and the undoubted effect that has had on my body.
Ronnie hope your feeling better in the morning. At least its not what my wife calls a Male Cold eh
Isnt it so great to be racking up these AF days and getting that feel of maybe achieving something amazing, one we can make us all truely proud of ourselves. Makes a change from that horrible morning after inner turmol.

Anyway, so right now is officially 1 day AF!!!!! I still feel pretty shitty but, well, you know.... it's kind of expected.

As far as the ache in my side is concerned, I did some research and it should go away in about 30 days. That's good because it's scary. I never had anything like that happen to me before and I have a feeling that it's an indication of things to come, and a warning as to how I'm damaging my body. I meantioned it to my sister and she was really upset. our mother died from chirosis and she doesn't want me to do the same thing.

Well guys, again thx for the warm welcome. I appreciate it and it really makes me feel welcome.

Welcome chy! Glad to have you here! These people absolutely ROCK and have made a major difference in my sobriety. Someday I will classify myself as a Non-Wino and it is all thanks to these guys!

You know I just looked at my calendar and I am actually on day 12 can you freakin believe that? That makes 16 days total AF in May. I could not have done this with out you all. Thank you thank you thank you!

Hope everyone is well and I will check in tomorrow - tonight I am in my first "Salsa Throwdown" (the kind you eat, not the dance...lol) Wish me luck!

Welcome, Chy! And Capa, good luck on that salsa throw-down! A funny side effect of this AF business, is that my husband has become a real foodie, and often he actually WANTS to watch the Food Channel! I hope you share your salsa recipe!

Hi Capa and Mica nice to hear from you guys, sounds like all is well. What in heavens name is a salsa throwdown? I have all sorts of images in my head.
Chywfl how are you doing today? I can understand your concern with that pain, sorry to hear about your mum.
Macca are you back from your break away yet? Hope things are good with you. Hello Bluz, Stashia and Ronnie too. If I missed someone out sorry.
The summer has finally arrived big time, pity I had about 5 hours of cutting 8ft heges on for today. Had to give up early as I am exhausted with it, too hot for that carry on. So got finishing that to look forward to in the morning :sigh:
Normally I would be popping open the first of many cold beers after that day to quench my thirst, which of course it doesn't do. I can honestly say I dont crave one, for which I am so grateful. I know for certain that coming on here and getting such great support is a huge part of the process.

Hi everyone,
My My KTAB, you certainly are a busy bee at the moment are'nt you? I must admit it is always nice to have a drink after doing very hard work, but of course "not for us" we have to stick together on this!!!!
There is no way that I will be caving now (well I hope not anyway) as I feel as if I have come way to far and I have put in alot of effort and I am not going to through all that away just for one drink!!!! I am over half way to getting to my 30 day goal and I want to see it through to the end.
Well thats my little rant for today, I hope you all have a lovely Friday and if anyone wants to join me (although alot of you already have) Great Work, on the weekend binge thread then you are more than welcome. Together we can do this!!!!
