    A Thought for Newbies

"When you face your fear, most of the time you will discover that it was not really such a big threat after all."
    --Les Brown
Many of us fear going that first day, first week, first month, or "forever" without AL. But once we face the fear, and take the necessary steps, we will wonder what was keeping us back!

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

          Dill-

My first day at MWO was also my first AF day. I was so sick and scared I had no time for fear. It wasn't until about the mindle of my second month that the "forever" with no AL really sank in. I read a post from someone here "when we get here we are all in the same elevator. Some of us just get of at dirrerent floors. I got of at the basement." That's how it was for me. I got of at the basement. I was more afraid of returning to a life with AL in it, than I was of living a life with out AL.

          Thanks for the post.
