    Looking for Accountability Partner

    Hi

    I am on day 11 AF and really want to make this weekend an AF one. Last weekend I had an accountability partner and I found that it really worked for me. Having to check in sober before I went to bed was that extra motivation that I needed.

    Weekends are my weakest point as I am a binge drinker. So this weekend I am looking for an accountability partner to help hold me accountable for myself?

    With a sick kid here this weekend it is best if I don't drink anyway.

        Still here, still sober. Have a bit of the flu this weekend which helps my being sober. All I want to do is curl up and sleep. Daughter has recovered from sickness. Son loved hockey, I am so proud to see him do some sport because he always looked like he wasn't the type.

            Sorry guys I failed my AF weekend, and sorry to myself. I had 6 units of AL, not quite enough to guarantee me a nights sleep with the a@@esholes who decided to show up without warning to resurface a small bit of road. No.1 they are not allowed to give up less than 2 weeks notice (they have never bothered to give us any, as usual), No.2 they should not be robbing tax payers money to do a job which they can do during the day (if the road is allowed to be shut off during the day to lay a pipe underneath it they should resurface the little bit dug up to lay the new pipe during the day also and I would be happy to stand outside any house for double the minimum wage, holding a sign all day long) no3 we don't even live on a main road, but only for some old quirk that our road has never been declassified and we haven't had a representative to change it in the 7 years we have been here (another problem with local policitics, allowing one person to be both a MP first and a councillor last).

            God, I am so pissed off, and not even drunk enough to sleep. This guys knock off work at 7.00 tomorrow, just when my husband is supposed to get up.

            It sounds like a rant , and it is. Luckily little kids can sleep through anytime, and god I really envying them.

            I have stopped drinking, and have downed 2 bottles of water. I will feel better for it in the morning but still won't sleep.
